no don’t. Tell us to break a leg.

So tonight is opening night. Last night was dress rehearsal and building the set. There is still a bit to do on the set, but just nailing on some trim. The kids had a good run-through I think, worked out some of the kinks and will have a bit of time tomorrow to get the last bit down. The local news called me and asked if they could send someone to film. He showed up and spent about 90 min. He interviewed Kristen and me and then spent about an hour just filming the set building and the first third of the rehearsal. It’s supposed to be on TV tonight late and then tomorrow at the evening news.
We have a pretty good crowd and we are going to be on the radio this morning (at the ungodly hour of 6:45 so we have to be downtown at 6:30 – ugh) and are going to be promoting 2 for 1 tickets for the Saturday afternoon show. We have a pretty nice crowd for Friday and Saturday night. I am sure it will be fine, the kids will have a blast (I hope) and it will be something to add to the resume, and my new skill-set of dramatic producer. I actually liked the stuff I was doing, but doing it on top of a full-time job, not so much.
I’ll have some pictures next week if I haven’t crashed into a coma somewhere.
Have a great weekend and think of us at some point and send out “remember your lines, don’t trip on the rug, don’t drop the wine glass, don’t fall down the stairs, speak louder” vibes.
You’re going to rock it! I know it
I’ll be thinking of you!
I know it will be wonderful. Even last night with the mistakes I thought it was great. Of course Kristen is nitpicky because she knows every little thing they did wrong, but the audience won’t notice the little things.
All the luck!!!
What Cole said.
Definitely thinking of you!
